The celebracion of the Virgin of Guadalupe is carried out December 1 to the 12 of the same month, initiating a novenario (9 days) of traveled through, leaving of the parish of the Virgin of talpa, located in the Colony "Talpita" with road to Cuyutlan, the traveled through is of approximately 2 Kms until arriving to the Gran Temple in this traveled through ; people preys, sing and accompanied by a dance (Dancers with Prehispanic dresses). Activity in which all the Villayers participates.
At the arrive to the Greater Temple is celebrated with mass, finishing the mass, the dancers, dance out of the temple, with dances resembling the fight body to body among Spaniards and Indian Aztecs which the boys and girls dress, doing gala of the best and elegant costums that they make, by its own parents, that by tradicion of generations there are trasmited these customs.
December 10, 11, are celebrated with toritos and many fireworks for the culminacion of the novenario( 9 dyas) the day 12 is the big national holiday, the celebration of the "Virgin" of Guadalupe saint, a National festival here in Cuyutlan is celebrated with the shawls (mananitas) with mariachi musician and at night the people enjoys a "Castle of lights and fireworks in the "shawls" the organizers, give to all the assistants; Cinnamon alcohol drink"with piquete" and sweet bread.
In these festivals as already is tradicion, the locals dress of marias and to the children, the parents dress them of Juan Diego.
